Updates

Ok, so it's been about a week since I last posted. I haven't had a lot of time to post for some reason. Well, Friday I got another About Face order, it was the one that only had once pigment in it and that was Define Beauty from a Limited Edition collection. I don't know why I didn't order at least a couple more but I didn't. Oh well. And Saturday I got another About Face order. I didn't think it would come until Monday but it was here early. Plus I was out of town (actually out of state) when it got here so I was a little worried it wouldn't be there when I got back on Sunday. But when we got home it was there so I was happy. In it was Smoky Mirror and Crushed Metal, they're both from the Go Glam or Go Home pigments. Smoky Mirror looks different than it's shown in the picture but I still like it and think it's a cool color. Also, on Tuesday I finally got my All Natural Face eyeshadow samples. Yay! lol It's been a while! And they were all the correct ones. So that's good. I did some swatches for those but still need to add them to jars so I will take pictures of them as soon as I do that. And I still haven't added the Hi-Fi Cosmetics eyeshadows to jars yet, I need to do that and put them up so you can see what they look like. But anyway, here are some pictures from those three orders.

From left to right: French Vanilla (I have two of those samples now, lol), Shimmer, Ice Fairy, Blue Ice Storm, Pink Ice Storm, Purple Ice Storm, Smoky Purple (a matte), Mauve Shimmer, Orchid (a matte) and Petal Pink (a  matte). I got the mattes to wear my white eyeshadows over them to add some sparkle to them.

I'm actually not too crazy about Mauve Shimmer, it looks different than it does in the picture on the website. But I'll still try it but apply it more sheer and see if it looks better that way.

And those are my pictures and updates. I should and hopefully be getting another About Face order tomorrow. It was sent out Tuesday so it should be here tomorrow, I really hope! It's from a Limited Edition collection called One Little Dress. There's 7 colors I ordered so those will be fun to see. If I get them tomorrow I'll post some pictures and swatches. I FINALLY got my Hi-Fi Cosmetics samples! Woo hoo!!

I was surprised to see it in my mail box. I was thinking it might've been the samples from the All Natural Face but I pulled it out of the mail box and it said Hi-Fi Cosmetics. I was excited!! I didn't know when they would get here and I especially didn't know they were sent out already! So it was a nice surprise. :) I even got 4 free samples! That was cool! The colors are SO pretty and unique!! I love them! There's only like, 1 out of the ones I ordered that I don't really care for, it's called Adagio. It's too gold for me. Maybe if I apply it more sheer I'll like it better. Who knows. I had to wash my arm off and apply more swatches three times. lol I did 9 at a time, well except for the last ones which were like 6. But anyway, here are the swatches. If I get some time tomorrow I'll transfer them into jars and take pictures of them in there. I just don't have a lot of time to do that tonight.

Here's another look at them. Julia Dream is more of a periwinkle kind of color but in the pictures it looks more like a light blue. You'll see what I'm talking about when you see it in the jar.

Here is Sexy Cupid in the baggie. It's such a cool color! I can't remember what it's used for. I think it's like a body glitter stuff or something.

And those are my swatches. Like I said, tomorrow I'll try to transfer them into the jars and take pictures if I can get the time. My husband and I are going out of town this weekend so I need to start packing tomorrow so we can just leave after he's done with his shower Friday night. We won't see the kids for like almost two whole days! :( But at least it gives us some time to spend by ourselves. We need it! I can't wait to try these eyeshadows! They're so cool! The All Natural Face Order

I got my All Natural Face order today in the mail. :) The one that has the volume and lenthening mascara, the Fix-It spray and the lip plumping gloss. This is Vegan make up so the mascara is all natural and the plumping lip gloss is all natural. She used cinnamon and ginger for the stuff that makes your lips plump. So that's kinda cool. Plus I got 4 free samples with it. :) I got three eyeshadows and a sample of the mascara I already bought (kinda weird but oh well).

I swatched the eyeshadows and actually liked two out of the three. The two I liked are browns and shimmery browns too (!) which I like browns cuz I guess they go good with my strawberry blonde hair and fair skin. And the other was a light purple and it's a matte color. I'm not too crazy about it cuz I'm not crazy about matte colors. Here are the pictures of the swatches:

From left to right is Deep Purple (doesn't look like a deep purple to me), Golden Brown and Subdued. I REALLY like Subdued! It's like a purply brown or something. Really cool!

I transferred them to jars so I can get to them easier and then took some pictures to show you what it looks like in the jars. I'll definitely be wearing these colors! Well the brown ones anyway.

 But I liked the other picture better because it showed more of the sparkles. But for some reason in the other picture it showed up darker.

 And here is Golden Brown.

I might have to order Subdued cuz it's such a cool color! I can't wait to try it out either all over the lid or just in the outer V. But I wanna try the rest of my About Face eyeshadows first. But if I did that it might be awhile! lol I'll probably just use it in the outer V with another color sometime. Also, I got a shipping notice today for another About Face order. Woo hoo! But this one is only one color. But that's ok, keep 'em comin'! lol After that I have a February 22nd order and a February 24th order. Then it goes into March from there. I made my biggest order today. I bought 13 clearance color eyeshadows. They were from the holiday collection she had this past Christmas. There were three different collections for sale so I ordered some from each. I think there's a few more I wanna order too. lol Not good! I ended up spending $30 with the shipping and tax. I know that when the Cinderella collection goes on sale there will be a lot I want to order from there. I saw someone's swatches for those and I liked 16 of the colors. That's $32, but that's not bad for 16 eyeshadows. I gotta quit! lol I have plenty already and I still have more coming! haha I wouldn't be doing this if 1). The company wasn't going to be discontinued, 2). We hadn't recently gotten our tax money and 3). They weren't so cheap! That helps that they're either $2.50 or $2.00. Well for the eyeshadows anyway. I did order some face products she has too, but I ordered those in the samples. Anyway, I guess that's all now. Just wanted to say something about my order. I sure do hope to get my 10 eyeshadow samples from The All Natural Face soon! They haven't been shipped out yet. I hope they get shipped out this week but who knows. Also, I haven't heard anything from Hi-Fi cosmetics about when that's gonna be shipped out. I might have to email her tomorrow or Thursday and see when they'll be sent out. I wanna get them! lol But anyway, that's all for now, have a good night!

I got a suprise in my mailbox today!!!

Well, I knew it was coming but thought it was a different order. I had gotten an email  last Friday about another About Face order being shipped out but I thought it was my order from February 18th. I knew there was an order that I place that I wasn't sure what it was because I must've entered the wrong email address in but the order still went through. Well that was the order. It came today and it was four eyeshadows. I was really surprised to see it. I thought maybe I ordered a couple of the colors but couldn't remember. But what I got was: Storybook Love, Social Pleasure (I think that was one of the Astrology collections), Cynical Fairy and Misty Maiden.

 Here's another one. Misty Maiden looks kinda white in these pictures but it's a silvery color.

 And another one. Also, Social Pleasure kinda looks silvery or white but it's like a sheer baby blue or ice blue color with lots of sparkles. It's really pretty.

I want to use Misty Maiden to do a Smoky eye look. And then use Shards of Glass for the Bback (or Black Celebration). I do have Bare Escentuals Smoky Eye Kit but I think it's a little too much and I tried not to do it too much but maybe I did. I should try it again and not use as much eyeshadow to make it not so dramatic or something. I could've made it even more dramatic than it was but that would've been even worse! But anyway, that's what I got today. I was excited and surprised about it. :) I  hope to get my All Natural Face order tomorrow. I want to try that mascara and plumping lip gloss. And I can't wait to get the eyeshadows that got messed up or whatever. Those haven't been sent out yet though. And I haven't gotten a notice about the eyeshadows from Hi-Fi cosmetics. I might get one tomorrow or Wednesday. I did read on the page that it would take her 8 business days to fill orders since she mixes them herself and also does all the shipping and stuff, it's only her who does that so it'll take longer than someone who has people to work for them. I placed that order about 8 business days ago (not this past Friday but the Friday before). I look forward to getting those and seeing what they're like. :) But anyway, that's all, have a good night everyone!

More About Face swatches

On Saturday I got 2 About Face orders!! Woo hoo! Happy day!! I was really excited!! I thought I'd get one of them on Friday since it was shipped out on Tuesday but it didn't come. I was kinda ticked and wanted to cry, lol. I was looking forward to getting it but it didn't come. Then I checked the mail on Saturday because I knew it had to be there and there were TWO of them!! I was so excited I started shaking! I was really looking forward to getting these two orders because they had some unique colors that I was looking forward to seeing in person. So I was really excited to get them both in one day. It was like an extra treat!

different in this jar than the sample does in the other.Weird

I do have another order coming from About Face but it's only one eyeshadow. It's from a Limited Edition collection she's been selling as clearance colors. And I have an order coming from the All Natural Face. I think it's the order of the mascara, plumping lip gloss and the mist that sets your make up. I look forward to getting that. I might get them tomorrow and I might get them Tuesday.

Oh and I forgot to update on what's going on with Nutrisystem. On Wednesday was my first week doing it and I weighed in and took my measurements. I had only lost 1 lb and 2 and a half inches. I thought I'd lose more than that so I was a little disappointed. But I guess I just need to work out more and that'll help. BUT at least I lost that instead of either gaining or losing nothing, so I gotta look at it that way. I'll weigh in this Wednesday and see what I'm at. Also, I'm taking Alli to help with the weight loss, and without going into detail of things, I'll just say, I know Alli is working! and that I'm getting rid of the fat lol I'll just keep eating my food and try to work out between 4-6 days a week. I've only worked out twice since Wednesday so I wanna try to work out tonight, tomorrow and Tuesday before I weigh in on Wednesday morning. So I need to get going and work out! It's gonna be 11:30 my time soon and I should be in bed! But anyway, that's my update on Nutrisystem. I guess this is all until either tomorrow or Tuesday. Have a great week! :)

My faceplate came today!!

I got home today and there it was, in the mailbox! I was really hoping it would come today (and even kinda had a feeling it would come) but I didn't wanna get my hopes up in case it wasn't there. But it was! I was excited!! Woo hooo! When I was trying to get the faceplate on a couple of crystals fell off (ugh!). But luckily I found most of them. Plus it looked like a couple of them fell off before I even put it on! What the crap is that?! So I super glued them on. Hopefully no more will fall off or I will send it back and ask for my money back! lol But it is really pretty (not as pretty as the REAL Swarovski crystal faceplates but I still like it). I'm just hoping no more crystals fall off or I'm gonna be ticked!! But anyway, here are some pics of the faceplate:

Very pretty! I like it a lot and like the design. On the website it's described as flowers so I guess that's what it's supposed to be. lol It does look kinda like a flower. But maybe I'll splurge a little with my birthday money and get a real Sworovski crystal faceplate from www.icy-couture.com. :) Those are SO pretty! But yeah, I just wanted to blog about that. I'm happy I have my faceplate and my phone looks pretty now! hehe

More About Face eyeshadows

I got another About Face order today! Yay!! I was kinda thinking it wouldn't be here til tomorrow (but was really hoping it would be here today) because the order was in Missouri and left Missouri Saturday night. But I went home this morning to grab something and found my order (plus my All Natural Face order). I was very excited!  I went inside and opened them right away. The About Face colors are soooo pretty! The color Stay in Faith is darker than I thought it was and what it shows in the picture but it's still really pretty and my kind of color. In the picture it looks like a light pink. The Mirror Loves me is really pretty too, kinda reminds me of Etherial Winds or something. And then I have Snow Capped which is a white shimmer. I know, I know, another white color but I ordered this one a little bit before I ordered the other white colors. Oh well if I have like 7 white colors. lol Most of them are just samples anyway, except this one (Snow Capped and I think that's all). But here are the pictures of the eyeshadows:

Also, when I opened the package from The All Natural Face I was excited to see my foundation samples and baby kabuki came with it. And I also got more than 7 samples, I got 20! lol I know I won't be able to wear that many of them but who knows. And I found that I didn't get the right order of eyeshadow samples. I was supposed to get 10 and there was like 3 plus the Icy Fairy color that I ordered which I thought was a shimmer eyeshadow but it's a gel and I think it's a eyeliner. Oh well, it can probably be used as an eyeshadow but who knows. So I have to email her about that and see if it's coming in a separate package or if an order got mixed up with mine. But the email that said the package was on its way listed the eyeshadow colors so I don't know what's going on. I'll just email and find out. So that's my other order of About Face. I can't wait to get the order from February 10th which I hope will be sent out tomorrow or the next and that I get it two days after it gets shipped. It has 5 eyeshadows and I can't wait to see a few of the colors! I'll be super excited when I get those in the mail! Well, that's all for now, have a good night and a good week!
